Gray tells detective he was on drugs
The defense team that’s trying to save convicted killer Ricky Javon Gray’s life introduced a statement this afternoon in which Gray told a Richmond detective that he was under the influence of the hallucinogenic drug, PCP, the day he killed the Harvey family.
But the statement—taken in Philadelphia by Richmond Detective David Burt on Jan. 7 and read into the record by defense attorney Jeffrey Everhart—disclosed more of the horror that unfolded that New Year’s morning in the basement of 812 W. 31st St.
