Testimony resumes
This morning, jurors will hear from the final defense witnesses during the penalty phase of Gray’s trial. The expert, Mark Cunningham of Texas, will testify about whether he believes Gray is a future danger to society.
After he testifies, prosecutors may present rebuttal witnesses or evidence. That would be followed by closing arguments for and against the death penalty for Gray. The jury has only those two options for his sentence.
They could begin deliberations later today.
